Trim Levels (Exterior)
There will be 10 trim levels available for the 2023 Dodge Challenger: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, R/T Scat Pack Widebody, SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak, and SRT Super Stock. Halogen headlights are standard, with LED daytime running lights around them, and the taillights are LED standard. Base SXT models come standard with 18-inch wheels, which expand to 19-inch wheels in all-wheel drive.
A 20-inch alloy wheel option is available, while GT and all other models come standard with that size or greater, as well as a performance hood with a functional hood scoop. A rear spoiler is also standard on all models.
Engine (Power)
The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine produces 303 horsepower and works in tandem with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox in SXT and GT variants. A 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine with 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque powers the Challenger R/T. The R/T Scat Pack is powered by a 392 Hemi V-8 that produces 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 engine powers the Challenger SRT Hellcat. This engine is tuned to produce 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque. Furthermore, the SRT Hellcat Redeye is powered by the same 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 that powers the Challenger SRT Super Stock and SRT Jailbreak, all with 707 pound-feet of torque as standard. The TREMEC six-speed manual gearbox is standard on the Challenger R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat versions, while the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox is standard on the SXT, GT, and Hellcat Redeye variants.
Performance
The 2023 Dodge Challenger can select whether to engage AWD or detach the front axle for RWD based on road conditions, drive mode, and exterior temperature. For the best of both worlds, the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox functions as an easy-driving auto transmission at its core, with the option of activating the included steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters or using the transmission's manual capabilities with Autostick. Furthermore, there are five drive modes, including sport and track.
Interior
The Challenger's five seats come standard with cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat. In terms of entertainment, a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, two USB ports, six-speaker audio, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and proximity keyless entry are all standard in the Challenger.
