2023 Jeep Wrangler

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is available in two-door or four-door styles with the latter called the Wrangler Unlimited. The two-door models are available in three trims: Sport, Freedom, and Rubicon. The Freedom trim is new for 2023 and has a limited run. The Sport trim offers several sub-trims including the Willys Sport, Sport S, and Willys. The Wrangler Unlimited is available in additional trims such as Sport Altitude, Sahara, Sport RHD, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and the Rubicon 392. Two new color choices are available for the exterior: Earl (gray) and Reign (purple).

Four different engines are available with the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, and all provide plenty of power. The base 3.6-liter V-6 engine produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Two turbocharged engines are available and they're a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that cranks out 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and a 3.0-liter diesel V-6 that produces 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The 6.4-liter V-8 engine gets 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque and is only available on the four-door Rubicon.

Gas mileage with the 2023 Jeep Wrangler varies drastically, depending on the trim engine and transmission. You'll experience the best numbers with the four-cylinder engine and the turbodiesel V-6, which returns 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. Adding the Xtreme Rubicon package swaps out the tires for 35-inch ones, resulting in best-in-class 12.9 inches of ground clearance and 33.6 inches of water fording depth. Also, when properly equipped, the two-door models have a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds, while the four-door models can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Seating five people comfortably, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler is constructed with off-roading adventures in mind. Its front seats are supportive and contoured, while the bench seat is firm and reclines slightly. The driving position is well positioned so you can easily view the roadway, and the square windows reduce blind spots. Its technology is surprisingly modern with the Uconnect infotainment system accessible via either its standard 7-inch or available 8.4-inch touchscreen display. Numerous charging ports are available, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity come standard.

While the 2023 Jeep Wrangler comes standard with a rearview camera, it does have a handful of available driver-assistance features that you can add on upper trims. A few of these key features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control.
